The Musical Fidelity M6 Pre Amplifier is a Class A pre-amplifier with fully balanced circuitry that creates a smooth and pure sound with extremely low noise. Complete with an MM/MC phono stage, USB DAC and balanced XLR inputs, the M6 Pre Amplifier competes at the highest level.
The Musical Fidelity M6 Pre has been released with all updated circuitry, in a fully balanced design. This creates a wider soundstage with better channel separation. With a low impedance output stage, the M6 Pre is able to drive any manner of power amp for a reliable performance.
Benefitting from a wide variety of inputs, the Musical Fidelity M6 Pre is an ideal pre-amp to place at the heart of your hi-fi system. Two balanced XLR inputs and four unbalanced RCA inputs provide inputs for CD, Auxiliary and Tape, as well as supporting a USB DAC capable of supporting 24-bit/ 96 kHz playback and a switchable MM/MC phono stage for your turntable. The M6 Pre also has a switchable RCA input for Home Theatre bypass.
For outputs, the M6 Pre also contains XLR outputs for balanced signal, and additional RCA outputs to connect to power amps without balanced inputs. The M6 Pre is designed to match the Musical Fidelity M6 PRX power amplifier, both performing with high-end electronics and powerful, accurate audio quality.
