Coventry’s own record store has over 2000 records in stock for you to browse and enjoy From easy listening, reggae to ACDC and Dire Straits, we stock many of your favourite genres.
2019 will mark the 12th anniversary of Record Store Day, and we plan to up the ante with live performances both in-store and out front, snacks and drinks for all to enjoy once again, and, of course, a large collection of beautiful and exclusive vinyl records and a Limited Edition RSD Turntable.
Get your diaries out and pencil in the date, because we are proud to reveal the 12th edition of Record Store Day UK will take place on Saturday 13th April 2019. Over 240 independent record shops including our own record store at hifix are expected to take part in the celebrations which unites music lovers all over the UK. There will be exclusive vinyl releases and tonnes of in-store performances, parties and fun happening in record shops up and down the country. We normally have lots of food, refreshments, competitions, and live demonstrations throughout the day. We will be joined by leading representatives on the day such as Rega, Chord, Henley Audio, Monitor Audio ,Roksan, Kef, and Ruark Audio. These will be demonstrating their products throughout the day and are more than happy to share their expertise!

All Record Store Day 2019 vinyl can only be purchased on the 13th April 2019 in store, we cannot take pre-orders so come visit us for a fun-filled day!

Record Store Day Unsigned Competition
is coming back!
Are you an unsigned artist or in an unsigned band? Dream of having your record released on vinyl? The #RSDUnsigned competition is back and it's an opportunity not to be missed!
One unsigned UK artist will have the chance to get their music pressed on 500 vinyl records and stocked in independent record shops up and down the country.
It couldn't be easier to take part, all you need to do is upload aone minutesubmission video showcasing your talent.
2019’s winning artist will be chosen by our panel which includes:
Chris Marksberry - Managing Director of Sound Performance
Chris Marksberry is the Managing Director of Sound Performance; a vinyl manufacturing company for over 25 years. Sound Performance are passionate about vinyl and its resurgence which has enabled artists and labels to thrive. In other words, they work behind the scenes to bring us the records we know and love.
Jamie Oborne - Owner and Manager of Dirty Hit Records
Jamie Oborne is head of Dirty Hit; a British independent label founded in December 2009. Dirty Hit have found success with artists such as The 1975, Marika Hackman, Wolf Alice, Pale Waves and more.
Natasha Youngs - Co-owner of Resident Music, Brighton
Natasha Youngs is the co-owner of the successful well-known record shop Resident Music based in Brighton. Natasha has been involved in RSD since its early inception and works tirelessly to raise the profile of independent record shops all over the UK.
