The Yamaha NS-SW100 subwoofer has an expertly crafted amp circuitry and a premium 25 cm (10") cone woofer. Put together, the unit delivers exceptionally sound rich bass that elevates your movie viewing and music listening experience to new dimensions of detail and depth.
The amazingly clear and tight bass of the NS-SW100 Subwoofer from Yamaha is mainly attributable to its new Twisted Flare Port. This subwoofer port features a gently twisted and flared shape. This unique shape does not let the generated air to form a vortex around the port's edge. By making way for a smooth airflow, it minimizes unnecessary sound disturbances from the original input signal and results in precise low frequency reproduction of the original sound. What you ultimately get to hear is a pure and realistic bass, as if you are witnessing every fictional scene live in front of you, and not on the screen.
Yamahas' proprietary Advanced YST II technology enables the NS-SW100 to supply unparalleled depth to its bass output. This technology makes smart use of the principles of negative-impedance and constant-current, thereby, helping the cone woofer to produce tighter bass. This subwoofer employs Advanced Negative Impedance Converter (ANIC) circuits for maximising effective speaker impedance and maintaining outstanding linearity. The arrangement promises a full-bodied sound that does not miss any low note at all. The stylishly constructed Yamaha NS-SW100 Subwoofer features a slanted front surface with an immaculately rounded shape.
