The SB1000 Pro subwoofer improves upon the previous SB1000 model bringing reference level performance to an affordable price point and compact cabinet. With a 12 inch high excursion driver, the SB1000 Pro is capable of low frequency and control. A dual ferrite magnet motor assembly generates huge magnetics to achieve frequencies below 30Hz without distortion, whilst the lightweight, rigid fibre-composite cone creates energising SPL with perfect control at high levels.
The Sledge STA-325D amplifier provides 325W of power RMS, with 820W peak power to maximise the potential of the SB1000 Pro driver. With high current output from fully discrete MOSFETs, the SB1000 Pro moves massive amounts of current with Class D amplification. A sophisticated 50MHZ high resolution analogue devices audio DSP is the most advanced DSP used in a subwoofer, and allows for accurate in-room tuning and pristine sound quality with powerful controls. With frequency response curves optimised for the SB1000 Pro, the subwoofer is capable of filling the room with crisp, thumping bass.
The SVS app available on your smartphone provides a convenient way to control all your subwoofer settings, including volume, multiple DSP functions and custom presets optimised for movies, music or gaming. Adjust the crossover, EQ and room gain all without leaving your seat. The app connects to the SB1000 Pro with Bluetooth for a stable connection with bi-directional feedback to update the settings on both interfaces in real time.
The rear panel Intelligent Control Interface displays controls for the main subwoofer functions, to allow for volume adjustment, low pass filter and phase control, to align the subwoofer with the main speakers. The cabinet uses an extra thick MDF front baffle and internal bracing to create a resonant free environment for uncoloured sound. Acoustic insulation eliminates any unwanted vibrations even when the lowest frequencies are played.
