Fading In and Out: The recording level can be gradually increased at the beginning of a recording or gradually decreased at the end of a recording with the touch of a button. This recording function is helpful if you are recording either a live passage or a segment of a long passage and you don't want the track to be cut off abruptly.

The pitch can be adjusted during playback on Deck A or normal speed dubbing. A rotary knob allows you to increase or decrease the playback speed of a cassette by about +/- 30%. This feature is great for dance and aerobics classes, or for changing the frequency pitch to let you sing along in key.
