The REL Acoustics S/812 Subwoofer delivers the next level of performance, with a high excursion 12 inch active driver and a passive downfiring 12 inch driver for deep bass and unbelievable low end. With a power output of 800W, the S/812 is capable of handling your music and movie soundtracks with depth, dynamics and punch.

The S/812 subwoofer contains improved and updated technology compared to the previous generation, to extract all the extra performance possible. The S/812 produces stronger deep bass output from 19-35Hz, with improved dynamics for home cinema and a more open, spacious sound field to benefit music and movies.
The S/812 uses an aluminium ContinousCast alloy cone, backed with carbon fibre for a strong and stiff driver, to cope with the pressure produced from the 800W amplifier. The long throw driver creates louder deep bass with far more accuracy, by preventing the backwave inside the cabinet from interfering.
The passive downfiring driver on the S/812 uses specially designed suspensions, with an additional 30mm of travel for a performance beyond standard subs. The SuperProgressive passive radiator produces a loud output while retaining speed and stiffness.
The NextGen5 Class D amplifier supplies the S/812 with 800 Watts of power, along with high current to make sure the subwoofer is ready for any media. Music and movies are more immersive and inspiring with powerful yet controlled bass. With a new PerfectFilter circuit to balance the frequency extremes, producing deeper bass and more air and delicacy in the top end, the S/812 seamlessly blends with your main stereo or AV system speakers.
The REL S/812 sub also benefits from REL’s Line array, by stacking up to three units high in a stereo pair, to produce a full scale performance in a previously unheard-of sonic arrangement. This unique configuration elevates reproduction of stereo or home cinema to a floor-to-ceiling panoramic. The S/812 can also be used wirelessly with the REL AirShip wireless transmitter for zero compression signal, allowing you to easily place the subwoofer anywhere in the room without the need for cables.
