British rock band Dire Straits recorded this album at Power Station studios, New York between 8th of March to 11th of June 1982. Love Over Gold is the first album produced by Mark Knopfler with Neil Dorfsman as his engineer. It was released on September 20th 1982. The album has bagged double-platinum ratings in Canada and Britain, gold ratings in the United States, and platinum in France and Germany. This is the Studio version (original LP both Mono and Stereo). This new release has had extreme care taken to replicate the original packaging and has been pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
