The I35 Prisma is Primare’s new Amplifier with a Digital to Analogue converter. The I35 Prisma fits itself into the realm of Primare’s iconic 30 Series integrated amplifiers and has become the first in the range to use the new UFPD 2 power system – a complete reworking of the award winning Primare UFPD all-analogue Class-D technology.
Technology and Digital to Analogue Converter
Technology inside the Primare I35 Prisma works to further improve an already stellar sound reproduction. With 150 watts at 8 ohms of absolutely linear UFPD 2 amplification across the entire audible bandwidth provided, the I35 Prisma will deliver sound that remains naturally fast and clean, with an agility that is unprecedented – bringing all of your favourite music to life like never before.
The fully-featured AKM AK4497 Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) incorporated into the I35 Prisma will enable up to PCM 384kHz/24bit and DSD 256 conversion, for a clearer and more lifelike reproduction of converted audio. Add this to Prisma connectivity and control technology, and you’ve got an amplifier that can handle just about anything.
Prisma, Wireless Connectivity
This Prisma feature is Primare’s new solution for those looking for whole-home, high-fidelity multi-room/multi-zone connectivity. Control over playback of stored and streaming music – wired or wireless – has been made possible, with a free control management app available to you that enables mobile control of your system.
Bluetooth, AirPlay and Spotify Connect is included with the I35 Prisma Amplifier, opening up a wide range of connectivity and streaming options, and Google ChromeCast only furthers these abilities.
Google ChromeCast
Through the use of your mobile phone or smart device, Chromecast will allow you to effortlessly stream your favourite movies, TV shows and music at the touch of a button. Access to your music and media has been made as simple as possible with the easy to use Chromecast app. This app will allow you to control your music and videos with one finger-tap, or select the next track, and even control the volume and subtitle preferences. Tap the CAST icon on your screen to connect to the device and enjoy your streaming services instantly.
