The Marantz SR6011 AV Receiver boasts a wide range of features intended to ensure your musical or cinematic experiences are as vivid and clear as possible. With 9 channel amplification, the SR6011 allows for 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 3D support without an external amplifier being required. The Marantz SR6011 also features 11.2 channel processing, which allows for 7.1.4 extension with the use of an external amplifier. The Marantz SR6011's integrated amplifiers are also able to be reassigned to drive another set of speakers installed in a second audio zone that is running in a different room, when they are not in use for 3D audio.

Using Audyssey advanced DSP algorithms; the SR6011 is host to Audyssey MultiEQ XT32 automatic room correction. With the integrated measurement microphone, MultiEQ XT32 works to analyse each speaker's output at up to eight measurement locations in order to generate precise digital filters for optimisation of each channel to ensure accurate frequency and time domain response. Minimising unwanted jumps in volume, Audyssey MultiEQ XT32's precise tonal tailoring allows for perfect listening conditions at any level.

The Marantz SR6011 is equipped with Bluetooth and Wireless streaming connectivity technologies, including an advanced dual antenna RF transceiver system which ensures error-free streaming in even the most congested environments, making it easier for you to connect your devices and stream your favourite tracks in the highest possible quality. The SR6011 is compatible with a wide range of devices and sites, including Apple iPod, iPhone, iPad, Mac OSX, or other devices running iTunes, all through Apple AirPlay. The SR6011 is also able to stream music through your home computers and NAS devices through the home network.

Available with the Marantz SR6011 is a free Marantz 2016 AV Remote App download compatible with most Apple, Android, or Kindle devices, it allows you to easily and conveniently control all aspects of the receiver from one device, reducing the need for multiple controls and making sure your experience is as comfortable as it can be by eliminating the need to get up and manually switch through devices. The SR6011 also supports control through most Smart TVs via the HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) functionalities.
