The Dali Concept 1 bookshelf speakers are a compact, but powerful pair of speakers is for those who need great sound in a small room. Place the Dali Concept 1 speakers on a bookshelf, hang it on the wall (wall bracket included) or put it on a pedestal. The Dali Concept 1 bookshelf speakers are as much a rear/side speaker in a surround setup as it is a great stereo solution. The Dali Concept 1 bookshelf speakers are a 2-way bass reflex system, fully magnetically shielded and with gold-plated terminals. It features a 5" mid/woofer driver and a 1" soft dome tweeter.

With the DALI Concept 1 they have selected driver materials and geometry as well as design the crossover especially to achieve wide dispersion. The Dali Concept 1 loudspeakers fill a wider area of the room with smooth, integrated sound. They design your loudspeakers for optimal frequency response (consistent sound pressure regardless of frequency), even for listeners seated off-centre

The job of the amplifier and loudspeaker is to reproduce the signal exactly as it is, adding nothing and removing nothing. If the impedance of a loudspeaker changes at different frequencies, the amplifier encounters constantly varying resistance, making it much harder to follow the signal/music. Linear impedance - a stable load for the amplifier - is a high priority at DALI and is achieved by fine-tuning every aspect of the speaker design
