Traditionally isolation platforms have always been associated with turntables, but all sensitive audio equipment can also benefit hugely from good isolation.

Utilising our own ISOL-X technology, which is a quantum leap in isolation, the Brij represents true innovation in a market where for many years wooden chopping boards seem to be the extent of a designer’s skills and ambition.

The design incorporates a solid wooden base which is decoupled from the audio rack via Sorbothane feet which provide an air gap beneath. A second wooden floating platter is decoupled from the rest of the system by a specially designed Isolation Suspension System (ISOL-X). The suspension points exhibit superb audio isolation but more importantly, each point is approximately 0.5mm in diameter whilst providing an incredibly high tensile strength. Therefore, the floating platter’s only physical connection to any other part of the system is limited to around 2mm of surface area. The floating platter is also free to move laterally, by about 8mm in any direction and as such does not touch anything around its sides, top or bottom.

The Brij is delivered in its own beautiful protective sleeve along with a draw string pouch which is home to the four Sorbothane feet. The feet are semi tacky and can be positioned anywhere on the underside so as to accommodate your particular rack or stand.

The maximum loading capacity is 35kg of even weight distribution across the suspended platter so should easily accept most turntables, CD players and some valve amplifiers but please check carefully the weight of your equipment and how evenly the weight is distributed before mounting.
