-Audiolab 8300CDQ CD Player and DAC

The Audiolab 8300CDQ performs not only as an outstanding CD player, but also as a DAC/preamp, capable of 32-bit/384 kHz audio resolution. The DAC is built around the ESS Sabre DAC chip, producing exceptional conversion of digital signals at high resolution to extract the most out of the incoming musical signal. The 8300CDQ also allows for DSD playback through the USB port.

With a slot loading mechanism, the 8300CDQ is able to facilitate the playback of CDs quicker than tray style CD players, removing a potential weakness Audiolab identified with tray loading mechanisms. With the slot loading mechanism, disc rejection due to dirt or damage is reduced, and with a digital buffer circuit connected to the asynchronous input of the DAC, the CD performance is further improved. Increased disc stability and decreased resonance also contribute to improved sound quality of the 8300CDQ.

The 8300CDQ benefits from the inclusion of Master Quality Authenticated technology, allowing you to play MQA audio files and streams with the sound of the original master recording. MQA is an award winning British technology with the master MQA being fully authenticated and small enough to stream or download.

With a variety of connections, the Audiolab 83000CDQ allows for flexibility when connecting into your system. Analogue connections include stereo XLR balanced outputs as well as stereo phono outputs, with digital coax and optical outputs for sending the signal to an independent DAC. Three RCA inputs and two of each optical and coaxial digital inputs are included to take advantage of the DAC/preamplifier section of the 8300CDQ. An asynchronous USB is also included, capable of DSD hi-res playback.
