The Arcam FMJ CDS27 CD Player has been expertly designed by the Arcam team, pouring all of their knowledge and expertise in hifi engineering, to produce outstanding quality performance from all forms of compatible audio media. The highest standards in audio quality will be achieved when listening to SACDs, CDs, or while listening to music over a network.
To make sure the FMJ CDS27 meets reference standards in its performance, Arcam have included the class leading TI/Burr Brown PCM1794 Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC), which, when coupled with the linear phase Bessel output filter and high precision re-clocking system will result in a level of audio quality required in a dedicated audiophile CD player. With even the power supply being specially designed in order to deliver pristine and precise performance, the FMJ CDS27 features discreet sub-regulated power supplies on the drive, with audio and DAC boards that deliver significant benefits to the overall performance of each element, which in turn allows each section to work independently and with no interference.
Arcam has placed all of their efforts into the maximisation of performance from this newest generation of CD players, boasting a critically damped cover and chassis to virtually eliminate damaging microphonic vibration from reaching any sensitive interior electronics. The FMJ CDS27 supports UPnP and CIFS capability, enabling effortless integration into networks, allowing the CDS27 to access any content you may have stored with absolute ease.
As it is designed with the delivery of the very best quality listening experience in mind, this CD player features discrete IR, IP and RS232 codes that work to make it the perfect player for integrating within a high performance home cinema installation.
