Designed to faithfully reproduce the surround channels of your favourite surround sound media, the M&K X-24T Tripole® is an outstanding performer in even the most challenging rooms. Think of the Miller and Kreisel X-24T Tripole® as two speakers in one cabinet. First a near-ideal point source direct radiator (on the front baffle) with an MK SOUND Phase-Focused TM crossover feeding its 3.25" polypropylene woofer and 1" silk-dome Neodymium tweeter. The second is a dipole speaker using two unique 3.25" polypropylene mid-tweeters treated with a special damping compound. These drivers achieve a very smooth and transparent sound from 300 Hz through the critical midrange and beyond, due in part to the fact they operate without any midrange crossover (meaning optimum phase and sonic coherency).

The Miller and Kreisel X-24T Tripole® combines the best performance aspects of two different types of speakers: a dipole surround speaker and a very high quality direct radiating speaker to deliver extraordinary performance from an incredibly tiny cabinet.

The M and K SB-8 subwoofer delivers incredible output from an ultra-compact package. This remarkably tight and musical sub uses a special high-performance European made 8" Super Fast Deep Bass TM long-throw driver. The sealed Deep Bass enclosure design delivers enhanced low frequency extension, especially for a cabinet this size, with useful output down to 30 Hz. A two-position phase switch ensures easy integration of the subwoofer and X-36, X-26 and X-24T satellites in any room. An automatic On/Standby switching circuit activates the amplifier when a signal is detected and turns it off after a period with no signal. Magnetic shielding allows placement near sensitive CRT televisions and computers.

The all-discrete 150 Watt power amplifier circuit features exceptional sonics. Thanks in part to MK SOUND's unique Headroom Maximizer TM, the Miller and Kreisel SB-8 achieves the most musical performance in its class with incredibly powerful and dynamic output
