Highly skilled technicians meticulously hand-make each Rega ND5 Moving Magnet Cartridge. The stylus profile is a perfect elliptical nude diamond, helping to extract the most from your vinyl. Made from polycrystalline manmade diamond, the stylus forms a true ellipse. The Nd5 Cartridge uses new generator geometry with perfect symmetry for precise channel balance. The Nd5 Moving Magnet also features an optimised pole gap. Resulting in superior crosstalk characteristics and linearity.

Improved Treble Response

This offers a significantly wider soundstage than previous models. This new cartridge is created with miniaturised parallel coils that Rega winds in-house using 38-micron wire with just 1275 turns. Rega Rebuild Scheme

The unique pivot pad design of Rega cartridges maximizes the performance by removing the mechanical joint between the stylus housing and the main body. This radically enhances the tracking ability and the stability of the stylus.
