Built in Phono Stage

There is a built-in phono pre-amp in the Project E1 Phono Turntable. Which means you are able to connect the turntable to any hi-fi system or speaker having an ‘AUX’ input (an RCA cable is supplied. But your system may require an RCA to 3.5mm cable). The E1 Phono can still be connected to the phono input of an amplifier as it is done with a standard E1, ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌though.

Precision Belt Drive System

Inside​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the plinth, there is a precision belt drive system with a damped DC motor and the motor draws power and operates through a sub-platter. The sub-platter is the actual source of the main platter’s rotation. The main platter is made of ABS Polymer and is strengthened with ridges. Which have been designed specifically to create an ideal anti-resonant platform for your vinyl records.

Automatic Speed Changing

It is very easy for the automatic speed changing to be managed through the power switch with 3 positions located on the side of the plinth. Tonearm is a new 8.6” aluminium one-piece tube model featuring a two-point bearing assembly and a headshell that cannot be detached.

Thanks to the above features the Project E1 Phono is a real hi-fi quality tonearm that combines low moving mass with electrical isolation. Thus creating the perfect conditions for musical playback that is most faithful to the original.

Ortofon OM 5E Cartridge
