The Innuos PhoenixNET Audiophile Ethernet Switch is basically a product that the manufacturer designed to be the best streaming music device. The primary objective is to play music online in a way that the sound is as pure and faithful to the original as possible.
Innuos PhoenixNET Audiophile Ethernet Switch
The PhoenixNET switch is the realisation of Innuos’ philosophy of simplicity and signal purity applied to the network switch. Having started with improvements to the Ethernet ports’ clock on our flagship Statement. Innuos has now brought the concept to a network switch design that focuses exclusively on audio use for musical details that stand out, a blacker background, better instrument separation and realism.
Minimise Network Switch Noise
The use of a simpler 100mbps network switch chip means that it generates less operating noise floor than switching to Gigabit. The network switch chip has no internal switching regulators. All 3 independent voltages will be provided by internal Statement-grade linear power supply with independent ultra-low noise regulation.
Network Isolation Transformers
Huge individual Network Isolation Transformers to further separate from noise coming from router or connected devices.. Exactly the right number of Individually shielded, high quality ethernet ports directly soldered to the mainboard without ethernet activity lights as blinking leds cause serious electrical noise. EMI absorption at proper places so that interference generated can be trapped before affecting other components.
Increase Clocking Precision and Stability
Using the same 3ppb 25MHz OCXO oscillator as used in the Statement, individually powered by its linear power supply and connected directly to the Innuos PhoenixNET network switch chip. Avoiding precision losses from using external master clocks.
Provide Pristine Power to the Components
Two independent STATEMENT-grade linear power supplies with Mundorf Caps to power the OCXO clock and the mainboard individually. While keeping the power path short to minimise EMI contamination.
Minimise Vibration on Components
The Innuos PhoenixNET Ethernet switch manages vibration at three levels. Anti-vibration feet are tuned to the chassis’s resonant frequency. The top cover features a treatment that converts vibration captured from sound waves into small amounts of heat. The sturdy RJ45 ports have silicone connections to the chassis.
Elevated Streaming Quality
PhoenixNET is engineered to control network traffic so that data transportation is more flawless and accurate to your audio devices. As a result, music streaming is of higher quality, clearer, and more precise.
Built for Accuracy
Through Phoenix NET, it is possible to refine the electrical noise and timing errors. Leading to a cleaner and more accurate data output signal. The device is deliberately produced with a high degree of precision, which is essential for the finest of sounds.
Features and Benefits
- Reduced Jitter: Fewer timing errors for more clarity in the sound.
- Noise Reduction: The device’s splendid design is an essential factor in reducing electrical interference.
- High-Precision Clock: The device’s efficient data timing system guarantees utmost accuracy.
- Multiple Ports: It is fitted with several Ethernet ports. For direct connection to other devices.
- Audiophile-grade components: The company uses high-quality materials. The device’s creators have crafted it in a way that makes it a bit expensive. But it’s worth it, as it delivers good performance.
- Plug and Play: Easy to install with no complicated setup needed.
Summary of the Innuos PhoenixNET Audiophile Ethernet Switch
Vibration control was divided into 3 tiers: Anti-Vibration feet calibrated to the resonance frequency of the chassis. Top cover modification to transform vibration picked up from sound waves into minor amounts of heat and robust RJ45 ports with silicone attachment to the chassis.
Preservation of Audio Signals
Not only is it focused on lessening the impact of digital jitter and noise elimination. But the Phoenixnet model also provides clean digital music transport. It guarantees the closest sound reproduction possible to the original.
