Yamaha NS-SW901 Subwoofer is a powerful subwoofer with a stunning exterior producing a remarkable deep bass output. With the advanced Yamaha Active Servo Technology, it enhances operative speaker impedance to maintain exceptional linearity. This allows more steady and precise low range response and the ability to replicate perfect bass.
A built-in 600W digital amplifier is the power behind the NS-SW901. It provides remarkably high sound quality and power levels. The extreme toughness and extra elongated stroke prevent distortion during deep sound bursts. This subwoofer has two wooden linear ports. The wooden ports are fixed from a block of alder wood and aesthetically match the rest of the unit.
NS-SW901 subwoofer incorporates a sleep timer that shuts off the power after two hours. The remote control that comes included allows the user to turn the power on and off, adjust the high cut filter, regulate the volume, selection of bass mode and phase.
The BASS (Bass Action Selector System) function integrated in the subwoofer provides a choice of three modes which matches the source being listened to. These three modes are: 'Wide' for potent sound with movies, 'Normal' for natural sound with music and movies, and 'Narrow' to cut excessive bass from music sources for enjoying a rich sound quality.
