A-PMD contributes to the quality of sound by employing a powerful magnetic circuit. The bigger neodymium magnet along with the stiffer aluminum die cast frame works together to raise the aperture ratio and the rigidity of aluminum cast helps in dampening the resonance. It also helps in reproducing the bass with deeper scale-ensuring the speakers deliver power and speed.

The use of 3-cm dome tweeter made of aluminum for durability and more responsiveness is an integral part of the speaker's design. The neodymium magnet plays an integral role in the structural integrity, linking medium and high ranges to ensure more natural sound is delivered with smoothness and greater transparency. Firmly integrating the diaphragm and voice coil by using a thick surround material, Yamaha NS-C901 Central Speakers increase the overall quality of voices and dialogue.
