Building on the impressive Mercury VR model from Tannoy, the Tannoy Mercury VRi Rear Speakers maintain the already high-quality rigid cabinet construction with a balanced and detailed sound, but have been analysed and fine-tuned in all aspects for an even more impressive budget rear/surround speaker.

The Magnesium Aluminium alloy tweeters have been developed to cover a higher treble frequency, delivering a much greater sound stage for more accurate music reproduction of your favourite tracks.

As well as the improved connection terminals and high purity silver plated wiring for greater conductivity, the Tannoy Mercury VRi Rear Speakers feature a more efficient crossover to help integrate the alloy tweeter with the rigid yet lightweight bass cone for a more stable audio reproduction with less resonance.

The Tannoy Mercury VRi Rear Speakers share the same driver layout as the Mercury V1is, but in a shallower enclosure. Though this sacrifices a little bass range it makes the speakers ideal for wall mounting, they come with built in plates especially for this. They can be easily placed discreetly on a wall to expand your surround sound system. As well as the compact, and improved, cabinet design, the Tannoy Mercury VRi Rear Speakers features a more efficient crossover circuit to enhance response and range.

Finished in an understated yet stylish cabinet, the Mercury Tannoy Mercury VRi Rear Speakers also feature front-ported cabinets to ensure optimum performance when wall mounted.
