The Quad S-1 bookshelf speakers are known for creating a focused soundstage, and will integrate into your current hi-fi system with ease. It gives the ability to enjoy your music or films with sound quality normally associated with floor-standing speakers.
The 2-way bookshelf speaker's vertical dispersion helps in delivering optimum performance by eliminating ceiling and floor reflection, a Horizontal Arc helps to maintain quality via controlled directivity.
Using a sandwich-like construction, the tweeter used in the Quad S-1 delivers high-range amplification. The Ribbon Tweeter can function as a Sound Radiator and a Voice Coil because it is surrounded by a powerful magnetic feed.
For maintaining integrity of sound and ensuring articulate rendition, these speakers come equipped with ABR Bass extension at the rear panel. The Quad S-1 Bookshelf Speaker use MDF and high-density particleboard for eliminating issues like panel-induced disturbances and unwanted resonance.
