Smaller than a stick of gum, Sony Memory Sticks® let you record, save, and transfer digital images, MPEG movies, and music files. They're designed to work in a variety of Sony's innovative products, such as digital cameras, camcorders, portable digital music players, and more!
Memory Sticks are used to store digital media in either compatible Memory Stick capable components, or they can be connected to the PCMCIA Type II slot of components using an optional MSAC-PC1 PC card adapter.
Memory Stick is designed to be highly resistant to shock and vibration due to its solid-state construction with no moving parts. The connector unit and pins have special features that provide reliability as described below. The shape of Memory Stick makes it easy to insert into products and ensures highly reliable exchange of data.
Safety Lock: There is a "Lock" switch on the back of the Memory Stick, which, when set in the Lock position, disables recording or deletion of data. These original Memory Sticks are available in a variety of storage capacities, up to 128 MB!
