The front boasts a clear OLED display that displays time and information about the station playing. Below the screen is the 3.5" driver that is responsible for high-quality sound. It has a maximum power output of 9W that is perfect for personal use. Adjustable bass and treble settings allow you to personalize the music output according to your taste and loudness function that delivers richer and fuller sound even at low volumes.
The front panel also features an auxiliary input port that allows your favourite tracks stored in a media device over a wired connection. A headphone jack allows you to keep your music to yourself.
Keeping future prospects in mind, the R1 MK3 comes fitted with a DAB+ and is accredited with 'digital radio tick'. To increase its functionality, the third-gen R1 comes fitted with a Bluetooth adapter that allows you to wirelessly stream the music from your smartphone or tablet directly to the radio and enjoy louder and clearer audio. The USB port provided on the back panel can be used to charge your device while you are streaming your favourite tracks from it.
The Ruark R1 MK3 also comes with dual alarm functions with customizable settings for once, daily, weekday and weekend alarms. You can choose to use radio or standard buzzer as the alarm alert along with choosing the volume required and snooze time.
