The 15 inch driver of the REL HT/1508 subwoofer uses CarbonGlas to produce a lightweight yet extremely stiff cone. Tough carbonfibre is backed by lightweight glasfibre for a driver that performs with speed and dynamics, when compared to other models with slow and heavy cones. The HT/1508 Predator performs exceptionally well with movies that often demand quick reactions from the subwoofer to truly produce a stunning experience. High quality butyl surrounds remain pliable and soft for years to come and accentuate the build quality of the REL subwoofer.

The REL HT/1508 uses a Class D amplifier to produce 800 Watts of high impact power with a high output ideal for larger rooms and home cinema setups. With 1200 Watts of peak power, the HT/1508 Predator is capable of massive levels of output to perfectly cope with any demands in the movie soundtrack. Freeing up interior space whilst running cool allows for greater cabinet volume to achieve ultra-deep bass. With specific inverse filtering on the input, the CarbonGlas driver is able to extend deeper.

The subwoofer cabinet is constructed of high grade line-grained composite, with a top surface of hand lacquered rubber, for a minimal, stylish look. The rubber surface helps to dampen vibrations within the cabinet, along with internal bracing for a clean performance.
