-Rega RP1 RSD (Record Store Day) 2016 Limited Edition Turntable

This year's Rega RP1 Record Store Day turntable has been designed by artist Pete McKee, who has previously worked with the likes of Oasis, Teenage Cancer Trust, Warp Films and Arctic Monkeys. Only 500 of these turntables will be made making it an extremely exclusive collector's item and will feature the 'Club Rega' design which is a picture that plays homage to the sweaty Beat Clubs of the 60's.

Using a manual speed change rather than an automatic mechanism eliminates speed inconsistencies and reduces wear of the drive belt. The money Rega saves is then spent across the design including a hand assembled RB101 tonearm, precision main bearing, phenolic resin platter and a high quality low vibration motor which would normally be used on a turntable costing two or three times the amount. A Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge is then factory fitted. The minimalist design of the Rega RP1 and the use of extremely high quality components ensure that this turntable will last for many years.
