-Rega Planar 2 Turntable Gloss White 2(Open Box)

The brand new RB220 tonearm supplied with the Rega Planar 2 uses ultra-low friction, zero play ball bearings that are designed by Rega themselves. The bearings are housed in a stiffer, more lightweight body which has been developed with a new automatic bias setting meaning you won't need to set the bias yourself. This makes the Rega Planar 2 Turntable virtually a plug and play turntable with an easy set up that gets you playing records almost straight away.  More features include a new 24v low noise motor, with low vibration assembly and new PCB. A completely new designed central brass bearing offers an improved fit and places less stress on the bearing, preventing the transfer of potential energy.  

The Rega Planar 2 plinth has been improved from the previous model, with an ergonomically positioned power switch and high gloss acrylic laminate finish available in gloss black, Red or White.

New ‘Optiwhite’ 10mm float glass has been used for the platter on the Rega Planar 2, which helps in improving the accuracy. The Rega Planar 2 also comes as standard with the Rega Carbon cartridge factory fitted for improved plug and play value. The newly improved feet assembly increase stability and reduce vibration transfer from the plinth to eliminate unwanted resonance.

Every single feature on the Rega Planar 2 has been made and included on the turntable so the maximum amount of data can be lifted from your records making them sound better than ever.
