Wish You Were Here is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd. The album was slow to pick applause from the music lovers initially, but soon became a big commercial success.
Pink Floyd released this album on 12 September 1975. Wish You Were Here was recorded from January to July 1975 at Abbey Road Studios, London. It has a multi-part track as a tribute to Syd Barrett, who had quit the group for 7 years because of a mental breakdown. This is the Studio version (original LP both Mono and Stereo). This new release has had extreme care taken to replicate the original packaging and has been pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
