The Quad Elite CD-P CD player uses a bespoke designed transport mechanism optimised to allow the unit to perform at utmost perfection. The Quad Elite CDP's Crystal 24-bit/192kHz DAC converts digital data into analogue signal, which is available as either fixed level for use with a traditional pre-amplifier or as a variable level to allow direct connection to a power amplifier. The Quad Elite CDP features six digital inputs to accept a range of PCM streams coming from digital outputs such as a DAB tuner, TV/satellite box, or computer soundcard.
The Quad Elite CD P CD player has been developed employing the strongest design features derived from its 99 series predecessor, but exhibiting updated internal audiophile-class components, highly specified transformers, multi-layer circuit boards and the latest, most advanced software available.
