The QED Active HDMI is a newly designed cable from QED and utilises their 'Active Filter Technology' which allows a high speed data transfer of lengths of 15m and over. Instead of having to use expensive booster boxes which also require an external power supply, or use bulky cables, over long cable distances QED has developed 'Active Filter Technology' which is an integrated circuit so that the longer length cables can support 3D, Deep Colour and 4K video resolution which before would have been a costly or bulky solution.
