The PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell Pre-Amplifier and DAC offers quality sound with a fully balanced analogue pre-amp combined with a state-of-the-art DAC, to create a detailed and rich musical experience from any analogue or digital audio source.
The PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell pre-amp and DAC was designed as a no-loss analogue pre-amplifier with a built-in cutting edge DAC to handle both analogue and digital audio. The Stellar Gain Cell pre-amp uses PS Audio’s analogue Gain Cell, eliminating additional components involved in volume control, for a short signal path with varying gain in response to front panel controls.
The DAC section of the Gain Cell Pre-amp is built around an ESS Sabre 32-bit Hyperstream chip, with a fully balanced Class A analogue output stage and independent jitter-reduced inputs, for USB, coax and optical connections. Experience all you digital audio with high quality resolution and detail.
The preamp uses a fully balanced design, with an XLR input and XLR output to connect to your power amplifier, with Class A amplification for rich detail. The Stellar Gain Cell pre-amp combines analogue and digital audio for a quality audio solution.
