The new Pro-Ject Pre Box is a pre amplifier, but not like you average pre amplifier. The ProJect Pre Box is small and has two RCA audio pair inputs for two sources. This makes it suitable for a bedroom system matching with an iPod dock or suitable for a PC which is used as your HiFi.
The Pro Ject Pre Box can be matched with many power amplifiers, but is mainly designed to be used in conjunction with the Project Amp Box or the Pro Ject Amp Box Mono. Use them both with a Pro Ject Phono Pre amplifier and you've got a small high quality HiFi sytem.
