The new Project Phono Box DS2 USB contains the most complete set of features when compared to any other Phono stage currently on the market. This highly adjustable phono pre-amplifier can be used with Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges, and features analogue, digital and USB outputs, meaning it is easily integrated into any existing audio system.
The digital characteristics of the new Phono Box DS2 USB will afford you the opportunity to record all of your favourite vinyl records and transfer them digitally in true high-end quality. This has been made possible because the Phono Box DS2 USB incorporates a very low-noise and jitter-free Analogue-to-Digital converter (ADC), recording via USB or Optical up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM or DSD 128 (USB only). Simply connect a high-quality turntable and cartridge to the Phono Box DS2, and enjoy hours of audiophile recordings directly from your record player.
High quality components have been used in the construction of the Project Phono Box DS2 USB, with a dual-mono configuration and sophisticated electrical designs which include ultra-linear RIAA equalisation, making it possible to achieve an even more superior sound quality. The Phono Box also features MM/MC compatibility, which allows you to tweak the capacitance, gain and impedance even further in order to produce the best possible sound from your turntable and cartridge.
All controls on the Project Phono Box DS2 USB have been clearly marked on the front-platte. Two phono inputs make it possible to connect multiple turntables or tonearms, and the additional Line input will analogue devices to benefit from the device’s recording abilities. The gold-plated RCA output ensures connection to an external hi-fi system remains simple, and the optical output also offers the option to connect your turntable into a high-end digital audio system.
