-Project AD Box S2 Phono
The Project AD Box S2 Phono has been designed with affordability in mind. Able to take digital audio back-ups of your vinyl record or analogue tape collection, this AD Box will enable you to preserve all of your favourite music, and even transfer to digital music players for on-the-go listening. Recording your analogue music to a computer means you can use special software tools that have been designed to remove any unwanted interruptions, such as pops, clicks and crackles in the track. This device is able to achieve this through converting Phono or Line level inputs to a digital USB data stream for a Windows, Apple, or Linux computer to handle.
Connecting a source to the back panel of the Project AD Box S2 Phono will enable the input selector on the front panel will allow you to change between any connected devices with absolute ease. And, when transferring music via USB, it has also been made possible to continue listening to the RCA analogue outputs, doubling this device up as an input extender for an existing hi-fi system, and an MM/MC phono stage that incorporates the same design principles as the Phono Box model.
On the front panel of the Project AD Box S2 Phono, the Gain control is only for the digital data stream. This is because many computer soundcards struggle with loud audio inputs, and the Gain attenuator will allow you to adjust the level, achieving the best balance between convenience and fidelity.
