The Members – Greetings From Knowhere (RSD 2024) Vinyl Album, is artwork that takes us into the unknown lands of punk through a fantastic musical journey. Naked rebellion becomes the not only superficial melodies of the songs but a voyage through the cosmos of revolt. Now, it is the core of the punk still with a new dimension.
The tracks become the platform that puts the stage light on the audience by performing the sounds and sharing the feelings one experiences in the passages. The Members are the distant sound guides and the music frontier’s trailblazers.
Revolutionary Resonance
The Members with “Greetings From Knowhere” are doing an amazing job of bringing back the punk spirits on a vinyl wave that is a tribute to the old punk. However, in the process, the futuristic sound gets attracted to their side. The sound waves they formed and released with the LP format are simply perfect.
Revolution is the main theme here, as the songs denounce the disenfranchised and outcasts. Plus, the freedom strivers become so razor-sharp that they throb and speak straight to the spirit.
The Quintessence of Punk Alchemy
The Members from the very beginning of their career used to mix the idea of using punk as a primal and wild style of music with a progressive approach that breaks the limits. “Greetings From Knowhere” is the perfect demonstration of the traditional punk spell. On top of it, it does the necessity to struggle turning it into a necessity of art.
Those are the characteristics of one kind. Respect for prototypes and the courage to differ from them. It is therefore not only a music release but also a historical event in the evolution of the punk genre.

User Comment
Definitely, I heard huge traces of British punk band influence while listening to the Members. As if they were not only holding my hand but also guiding it through fresh musical realms. When I listened to the album “Greetings From Knowhere” for the first time. Therefore, the initial punk energy and the experimental zeal. That allowed one to evoke both nostalgia and find it new at the same time.
This album, besides being stacked on my shelf. Is also an immortal piece of my life. Making a radical change in the manner I interact with my environment. My brain is constantly being forced to see the world as a colourful painting. Pure beauty and noisy rock, and that story have been changed.
