The Rega Planar 3 Turntable RS uses an all new aluminium skin laminate to make the stiffest plinth at the Planar 3 level we have ever made. It is a dark, polished plinth with a high-gloss black boundary.
Neo MK2 PSU
The RS Edition includes a custom built Neo MK2 PSU. Where the operator manually tunes each motor circuit to the motor. This low vibration 24V motor powers the sub-platter via a Reference EBLT drive belt, ensuring precise speed control. In addition to the legendary handmade RB330 tonearm used in the turntable. The new award-winning ND5 moving magnet cartridge is also supplied.
