Quad Artera Stereo Power Amplifier is designed to complement Artera Play perfectly. It has no problem driving high-end loudspeakers. Thanks to the patented Current Dumping technology.
Quad Artera Stereo Power Amplifier
Artera Stereo has been thoroughly engineered with a focus power, musicality and stability. The smooth silver colour will definitely bring a hint of modern sophistication to your music room.
Legendary Sound
The design ethos of Quad Artera in the hi-fi department puts it on a different level from other brands as it aims for a legendary sound. That is just about identical to the original recording, which is also the brand’s motto. The end products are industry-leading items that deliver such astonishing realism to your music that it is almost like you were there at the original recording session.
Current Dumping’ Technology
Artera acknowledges Quad’s background in manufacturing which goes back to 1936. The amplifier employs the patented ‘current dumping’ technology. Which was first presented in the iconic 405, for Class A sound supported by a large and completely stable power output. This completely new design keeps the tradition and functionality intact.
140 Watts RMS Per Channel
The Artera Stereo amplifier delivers 140 Watts RMS per channel. More than enough power to drive top-of-the-line loudspeakers and the patented Current Dumping technology. Ensures that the amplifier will never falter even under high dynamic and transient conditions.
Tremendous focus went to the newly designed balanced XLR inputs as well. Being rugged connectors, these have also been known as the advantage of the Artera Stereo. Featuring an unmatched signal to noise ratio.
Outstanding Sound Reproduction
Most likely, it can hardly resist the temptation to take over a speaker, any speaker really. Yet, they don’t just attempt to demonstrate the brute power. Instead, they do it with a quiet confidence, almost as if they know the speaker.
As with other QUAD Artera components. The Artera Mono is quietly elegant and comes in two colors Silver and Black. Artera’s crisp, clean look not only reflects the QUAD heritage but also points to the future.
The enclosure provides a solid frame that radiates quality and effectively isolates the unit from the acoustical interference. Featuring a textured aluminium front panel. An inlaid glass top and a CNC-routed heat sink on each side.
