Perfect Cartridge Matching

Underneath​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the Pro-Ject Phono Box S2, a series of micro switches are available for perfect cartridge matching. Input gain, capacitance and impedance are the adjustable settings. The instruction manual outlines the suggested settings for popular Ortofon cartridges.

Subsonic Filter

With certain speakers, subsonic noise may cause a serious problem. Five variable input impedance settings are available to adjust to any MM cartridge. The 47k ohm input impedance setting is fixed and suited for high output MC cartridge
