I was really fortunate to acquire the David Bowie / Marlene Dietrich vinyl for Record Store Day. At home, when I play it. One can hardly fail to be impressed by the lovely combination of Bowie’s “Revolutionary Song” and Dietrich’s “Just A Gigolo”. It is more like a masterpiece than just a music one. That enthralls different generations and genres. And vinyl format makes it even better.
The record is among the most valuable in my collection. There are moments when one can only recall the power and beauty of music collaborations by staring at this particular record.
