Two Dedicated 125mm Mid Range Drivers
The Acoustic Energy AE520 Floor Standing Speakers is equipped with two dedicated 125mm mid-range drivers. Three low frequency drivers, and a 25mm tweeter. All made from carbon fibre to ensure flawless tonal matching throughout the frequency spectrum.
Large 35mm Voice Coils
The two specialized 125mm carbon fiber mid-drivers come with new, large 35mm voice coils to reduce thermal compression and provide optimum motor force factor. Each is enclosed in its own sealed enclosure. Meanwhile the three low-frequency drivers are served by a reflex-loaded port. A large rectangular one, facing backwards.
