New Paper/Coconut Fibre Bass Mid Drivers
The AE300² employs completely new paper/coconut-fibre bass-mid drivers that were made on the basis of research from the CORINIUM project. Two of these drivers plus a totally new soft dome tweeter are put in a very inert slim line 18mm constrained-layer RSC™ MDF/bitumen cabinet. A huge leap in both audio and material quality at this price point.
The slot shaped duct port on the rear of the speaker increases bass output and has been so developed as to minimise the effect of air turbulence giving a clean, non-distorted bass performance.
The cabinet can be had in walnut or in one of the newly introduced ‘silk-touch’ matte black or white finishes that have screen-printed logos with trims and grilles that are colour matched to each finish. The new AE300² will blend in easily with any home décor when set on speaker stands or bookshelves.
Superb Speed And Clarity
The 300 Series incorporates a new kind of soft dome tweeter that was created from the Corinium project. This tweeter has the capability of superb speed, clarity, and very low level of distortion. It is highly compatible with our new mid-woofer.
Besides, with the latest WDT waveguide. It yields minimal baffle diffraction at crossover frequencies and a broad sweet spot for listening at higher frequencies. Leading to a treble that is open, fragile, and very natural.
Two 140mm Bass Drivers
The all-new mid-woofer gives off a warm, natural tone while still having crystal clarity and an excellent ability to convey musical subtlety and detail. The cone, reinforced with coconut fibers, possesses excellent stiffness and displays less breakup modes.
The motor includes an extended copper pole shield to reduce midrange distortion. A non-conducting voice coil former ensures the bass and dynamic range are very impressive. This mid-woofer, which is used across the range, is strengthened by two 140mm bass drivers in the floor-standing AE320 speaker; these also adhere to the same high standards.
Advanced RSC™ Cabinets
The newly-launch 300 Series enjoys the very same advanced RSC™ cabinets as our flagship Corinium and cabinet-topping 500 Series speakers. Compared to normal MDF or Plywood constructions. This composite material reduces cabinet radiation quite significantly. Giving drive units an opportunity to perform with no interference.
Aesthetically, it is hidden in a design that fits extremely well with modern interiors due to subtlety and elegance. Cabinets have been slimmed down and, instead of going for high gloss. We have opted for a more modern ‘silk-touch’ matte material with color-coded trims, grilles. Plus, aluminum feet on the floor-standing models.

Using methods developed during the Corinium project we have managed to greatly minimize loudspeaker crossover distortions. Taking woofer, tweeter, and cabinet together as one. We produced a crossover filter with a lighter touch that reduces phase distortion. Plus, it retains the character of the speakers musically.
