Waterproof and Dustproof

This portable speaker is perfect for any conditions thanks to the IP67 certified waterproofing and dustproofing. The Envaya is capable of playback whilst placed in up to 1m of water for 30 minutes without any damage occurring. This has been made possible through covering all connectors with a cap, closing all gaps with gaskets, and the chassis have been made water resistant, meaning no water is able to find its way into the unit for a maximum limit of half an hour.

Bluetooth aptX, BT Pairing, and Envaya Link

The Envaya DSB50BT features Bluetooth aptX for CD quality wireless streaming of all of your favourite tracks, accessible via all of your compatible Bluetooth enabled devices. High quality Bluetooth aptX is Low Latency and, as such, allows for CD quality playback through minimisation of latency and removal of ‘lipsync’ issues when supported by your Bluetooth streaming device.

Pairing this speaker to your Bluetooth enabled device has been made as simple as possible with the DSB50BT speaker. When you take the speaker out of the box and power it up for the very first time, it will automatically switch into pairing mode. After opening the Bluetooth settings section on your device, you should be asked for pairing confirmation. Simply press yes and you will be up and running, with the speaker automatically pairing each time you turn it on with your device in range. If you wish to add another Bluetooth device at a later date, you can hold the Bluetooth button (located on the right hand side of the speaker) down for one second and you’ll be up and running in no time.

Simply hold down the Bluetooth pairing button for five seconds and the option to create a stereo pair with another Denon Envaya speaker will be available to you. The DSB50BT’s built-in microphone makes hands-free calls a breeze. All you need to do is connect your smartphone to the speaker via the Bluetooth functionality, and you will instantly be able to make group calls, schedule meetings, respond to texts, and even make reservations – all without having to take your mobile phone from your pocket. Press and hold telephone button on the right-hand side of the device to activate Siri.
