-PMC Twenty5 23 Speakers

Due to the size of the Twenty5 23 speakers combined with the ATL and Laminair vent they produce bass that's more powerful and punchy compared to the already extremely high performing standmount versions. Their slim size means they can fit easily in most rooms and can blow you away no matter what music you play through them.

ATL (Advance Transmission Line) bass-loading technology is PMCs extremely clever design of using the energy generated by the bass unit to extend the low-frequency response which makes it seem like the bass is coming for a much larger speaker with a higher quality bass unit, but the bass doesn't change depending on the volume level so even when listening on a low volume it still sounds defined and balanced. The difference with ATL loudspeakers and ported or sealed boxes is that in an ATL speaker the braced cabinets are lined with a wide range of custom designed materials that absorb everything but the low frequencies, and these then exit from a vent on the front panel. However it affects more than just the bass as vocals sound a lot clearer and projected.

Head of design Oliver Thomas applied what he learned from his previous job in Formula One to develop a Laminair aerodynamic vent which takes the positives of ATL to another level. He designed a vent that's even smoother at the exit from the transmission line and by showing that reducing turbulence and drag at the ATL vent it increases efficiency, eliminates air noise, reduces resistance and produces bass with even better timing and a supreme dynamic range.
