The Pioneer VSX-922 meets all the popular AV receiver needs: 7.2 surround sound in HD, and a digital connection with your iPod, iPhone or iPad without dock. Additionally, the Pioneer VSX-922 AV Receiver includes easy-to-operate worldwide internet radio and network streaming via DLNA or Apple Airplay when you connect via LAN (adapter for wireless LAN available). WAV and FLAC files in resolutions up to 192 kHz/24-bit are supported.
The Pioneer VSX-922's iControlAV2012 lets you modify all important receiver functions from your smartphone or tablet (iOS / Android). Featuring Virtual Speakers and PQLS, it even allows you to define EQ frequencies by drawing out 'curves' on your smartphone's touchscreen
Connect your Apple device directly to the Pioneer VSX922 receiver to view stored photos or videos or to stream directly from e.g. YouTube straight to your LCD TV. Thanks to the digital connection, you get the best possible audio quality enhanced by Advanced Sound Retriever
Apple's AirPlay lets you stream music from any compatible device connected to your home network. This means you can easily enjoy your iTunes music library through the Pioneer VSX-922 AV receiver.
With the Pioneer VSX 922 home cinema receiver connected to your home network, AVNavigator software makes installing a breeze. A Wiring Navi guides you in making the connections with speakers and other devices, and updates the receiver with the appropriate settings, while the interactive manual lets you intuitively explore every feature. AVNavigator is also backed by a free iPad app.
