The Pioneer SC-LX901 AV amplifier features a full 11 output stages, with a powerful 200 Watts per channel from Class D amplification, to capably drive any loudspeaker. The SC-LX901 has a highly efficient Direct Energy HD design, allowing the AV amplifier to perform at its best, even when operating at full capacity. The Refined Edition contains many components upgrades, making significant changes to the sound and performance of the SC-LX901, such as changing capacitor parts in the coaxial input circuit to reproduce more body of the music, and putting in an enhanced GND at the ESS DAC, reducing noise and increasing the speed and depth of the audio.
The SC-LX901 has been extensively fine-tuned to receive the ‘Monitor’ certificate from London’s Air Studios, meaning that the AV receiver reproduces audio at absolute reference standard, giving you a true cinema experience. With support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) and BT.2020 colour space and image dynamics, the Pioneer SC-LX901 Refined Edition is future-proof, with ultra HD capabilities. The home cinema amplifier contains Pioneer’s own super-resolution scaling, allowing the SC-LX901 to convert standard HD content into truly convincing 4K pictures, so you can make the most of Ultra HD content. The AV amplifier makes the perfect partner for either the Pioneer UDP-LX500 or UDP-LX800 4K Blu-ray Players, for an outstanding home cinema experience.
With in-built Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the SC-LX901 Refined Edition makes music streaming easy, and supports TIDAL, Spotify Connect and Deezer, giving you access to millions of songs, all streamed directly through the SC-LX901. Also supporting Chromecast and Apple AirPlay, the AV amplifier has every option covered, whether you are using either a smartphone or tablet as an input source.
The Pioneer SC-LX901 Refined Edition is capable of multi-room audio streaming, with FlareConnect brand-neutral multi-room technology, offering high-performance audio playback to an entire house network with perfect synchronisation.
