Designed in France-with engineering contributions from Japan and the USA-it owes many technical specifications to the TAD M1, considered by audio professionals as one of the best speakers in the world.

Tuned to the highest standards to ensure that the EX Series meets the definitive international standards for professional audio equipment, the speakers have been fine-tuned at the legendary AIR Studios. The quality seal of the temple of immaculate sound, located in London, is proof of the extraordinary fidelity, precision and capacity of our EX Series speakers.

Exclusive technology is of course the norm on the Pioneer S8EX Centre Channel Speaker, the midrange and tweeter drivers use the exclusive CST (Coherent Source Transducer) technology - developed by TAD to achieve superior directivity control at all frequencies. The tweeters, featuring Beryllium or Ceramic Graphite diaphragms, are mounted in the centre of the magnesium midrange drivers. The result is a phenomenally smooth and coherent sonic experience.

The elegantly styled speaker cabinets are available in a choice of two rich finishes: real beech (high-gloss) or dark teak veneer (satin). Beneath their sleek surface, the housings are designed and crafted for absolute stability: multi-layered, laminated MDF at a thickness of up to 100 mm gives EX Series speakers the weight and inertia to resist vibration and distortion even at the utmost limits.
