The Nordost Silver Screen DVI-D High Definition Lead sets new standards in DVI cable technology. It is an extremely high performance product designed to transmit a digital video signal to a digital video display. It is the most detailed and high performance DVI cable on the market today due to the use of our proprietary "Micro Mono-filament" manufacturing technology. Clarity, depth of picture and detail are sparkling clear. Extremely precise impedance matching, coupled with precision manufacturing, ensure this cable exceeds the DVI specifications.

The DVI interface uses a digital protocol in which the desired illumination of pixels is transmitted as binary data. When the display is driven at its native resolution, it will read each number and apply that brightness to the appropriate pixel. In this way, each pixel in the output buffer of the source device corresponds directly to one pixel in the display device, whereas with an analog signal the appearance of each pixel may be affected by its adjacent pixels as well as by electrical noise and other forms of analog distortion.

The reduction of insulation contact by more than 80% means that signal bandwidth is much wider than conventional cables. This extremely wide bandwidth, combined with high signal speed makes Silver Shadow DVI-D the only choice for the ultimate in video performance.

Additional lengths are also available for special order; please telephone our customer help line on 0247 6631707 to enquire about our bespoke cable service.
