The Monitor Audio Silver 100 Speakers are capable of producing outstanding resolution from the most intricate of musical scores to the harshness of a loud rock concert with absolute ease. The high output that these bookshelf speakers produce, as well as the effortless dynamics, makes the Silver 100 speakers the ideal choice for those looking for brilliant sound within a small to medium-sized room in two-channel stereo or multi-channel application.
Featuring a powerful eight inch C-CAM bass/mid driver rigidly fixed into a relatively compact two-way cabinet in a configuration that is relatively conventional and has a lot to offer. As there is no true alternative for big drivers and the way in which they move air around, the Silver 100 can deliver incredible dynamic headroom and bass extension, a feature that would most usually be seen in floorstanding speakers.
With a two-way, ported design, the Monitor Audio Silver 100 Speakers rely on the new 25mm C-CAM tweeters. Constructed using proprietary Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium (C-CAM), and featuring a vented Neo magnet system, these speakers will create the cleanest possible highs. The HF units have been coupled with specially designed eight inch bass/mid drivers that use a concave "dished" C-CAM cone profile, offering incredible levels of damping and improved mid-range clarity.
