The Gold 300 Floorstanding speakers deliver incredible low end and high frequencies without distortion from two 8 inch bass drivers incorporating technology from Monitor Audio’s flagship Platinum II series, using RDT II cone technology featuring a thin C-CAM, Nomex honeycomb core and a woven carbon fibre back for incredible stiffness, yet remains lightweight and well damped. The Dynamic Coupling Filter on the Monitor Audio floorstanders is optimised to reduce distortion and cone break-up, while the die-cast metal chassis offers ultimate rigidity and resonance damping.

For the midrange, the Monitor Audio Gold 300 uses a 2.5 inch driver with a die-cast metal chassis and a dished C-CAM cone. A 35mm voice coil and close coupling to the MPD transducer offer improved levels of accuracy. The MPD high frequency transducer gives articulate and extended high frequencies, with a smooth performance. The crossovers between the high and low frequency drivers use premium grade polypropylene film capacitors with air-core and low loss steel-core inductors to maximise signal transfer and zero distortion to get more out of your music.

The Gold 300 Floorstanders feature dual HiVe II ports for better bass response and extension with improved transient response and tighter bass due to a smoother air flow. Experience powerful low frequencies that remain tight and well controlled from this high end floorstanding speaker.

The cabinet uses 18mm MDF with smooth contoured vertical edges and a sharp, contrasting top profile. The Gold 300 cabinet bracing employs a design derived from the Platinum II series, creating a well damped construction, eliminating resonant frequencies. The Monitor Audio Gold 300s are ideal for larger rooms, and perform best when placed at least 30cm away from the wall to allow for breathing room. Available in four premium ultra-smooth finishes of Dark Walnut, Piano Ebony, Gloss Piano Black and Satin White, the Monitor Audio Gold 300 Floorstanders look as good as they sound.
