The Mission PCM-7000 CD Player uses a Phillips designed CD transport, with a second generation digital filter and 4x oversampling, connected to a 16-bit DAC. This is coupled with Mission’s analogue circuitry, using high quality op-amps and CMOS switching ICs for high precision attenuation of stereo output, with 1dB steps controllable through the remote.
The front panel displays all the controls of the remote, and includes a large display for CD and track information. The PCM-7000 produces a well-defined stereo image, with an easy sound.
