The Marantz UD7005 is not only a Blu-ray player offering the full BD-Live specification, it is also DLNA1.5-certified, which means it can stream audio and video stored on your home network. Also, to ensure top audio quality, the Marantz UD7005 Universal disc player includes a special decoder for HD sound formats and uses a 32-bit audio DAC with 7.1 analogue channel out.
The Marantz UD 7005's audio stage uses customized components and the unit can even play the high resolution SACDs via the fast loading mechanism. Standard DVDs gets a quality boost too - thanks to Anchor Bay's ABT 2015 VRS™ video processing, which outputs 1080p from standard material via the HDMI 1.4a port, which also makes the player 3D-ready (software update required). But as with all Marantz players it's musicality that reigns supreme, and to ensure the best from CDs there's a Pure Direct Mode.
